A river runs through it |

The River Rooms
Located on the Thames embankment and spanning three rooms set over two floors, the River Rooms is a blank-canvas, contemporary venue. With its open-plan layout and white walls, this is an ideal space for those couples looking to put their own stamp on their big day. Although with spectacular views over St Paul’s Cathedral, Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and The Shard, your guests may be forgiven for failing to take in the finer details of your coordinated napkins.
Couples can tie the knot in any of the three rooms, the Queenhithe Suite is an intimate space for up to 150 nearest and dearest, and leads on to the Upper River room, where 150 loved ones can witness your vows – although if the bride exercises her prerogative to be fashionably late, the panoramic views will keep everyone occupied. Lastly, the Lower River room can accommodate 200 friends and family.
All three spaces are available for receptions, with a maximum capacity of 500 seated guests (in the Upper River room).
