Yes, it’s customary to make resolutions at this time of year but I’ve never believed in them – and certainly not in January. I say, this year, why not resolve to enjoy yourself more and worry a bit less? Certainly, our hen and stag do special will help you do just that – there’s nothing like gathering your bessies and having a shindig to lift the mood. Turn to page 75 to read more.
Whether you’re just starting out on your wedding planning journey or you’re nearing the end, it’s important to make time for you along the way. Last year, I made precisely no resolutions as per usual but as spring approached, I did find the energy and motivation I needed to spend a little more time on me. I took up running, I dedicated a lot more time to my passions and hobbies and I enjoyed it thoroughly – read about it in our self-care special on page 69.
We’ve also got a spectacular set of real weddings for you this issue from Katy and Matt’s relaxed Hackney affair to a gorgeous Greenwich do, starting on page 46.
And as December is a popular time of year for engagements, no doubt many of you will be embarking on the venue hunt – look no further than our venues section on page 23.
