Swan, Shakespeare's Globe
There are few places that evoke centuries of romance like the Globe Theatre. And for those setting out at the start of their own romantic tale, Shakespeare’s Globe provides the perfect setting – and the venue’s experienced events team will ensure there’s not a comedy of errors or tragedy in sight.
Ceremonies and receptions for up to 70 loved ones can take place in the Balcony Room, which boasts a Juliet balcony overlooking the Thames. Larger parties of 100 to 450 guests can be catered for in the Underglobe, which as the name suggests, sits under the theatre itself and features a full-size model oak tree and a sweeping staircase made for grand entrances.
