The Roof Gardens
The Roof Gardens in Kensington has long been one of London’s most spectacular and extraordinary landmarks. Originally designed as an escape from London rather than a pedestal above it, The Roof Gardens comprises three themed gardens spanning one-and-a-half acres and is situated 100ft above Kensington High Street with views across the capital. Think fully grown oaks and fruit trees, a flowing stream stocked with fish and wildlife and, of course, the resident flamingos. So very now, darling.
The sixth-floor Clubhouse is licensed for civil ceremonies for up to 150 people, or outdoorsy couples can hold an al fresco blessing. Receptions can take place in any of the three gardens or the Clubhouse, which can seat up to 200 guests for a wedding breakfast.
