I have so many happy memories of my wedding day and I just love that real couple Jo and Tim chose the exact same song as us for their first dance – Nina Simone’s My Baby Just Cares for Me. However, their rendition was so much more impressive: think talented swing dancers, accompanied by a live band and even a colour changing dress, Sleeping Beauty-style. Yep, you heard me. In other words, utterly fabulous – turn to page 51 to read more about their rainbow-glitter themed big day.

If you want your evening do to kick off with a bang too, then turn to our music and entertainment special on page 65 where some of London’s best acts advise on maxing out your budget, whatever it may be.

And although the planning is over for some, for others the journey is just beginning, so we’ve also got some stellar inspiration in our celestial styling feature on page 62 not to mention venues galore (starting on page 19), local inspiration (page 39) and all the usual fashion, beauty and travel.

Roast Restaurant

Nestled in the portico of London’s top foodie hotspot, Borough Market, Roast Restaurant is the ideal location for gourmand couples. But while your guests’ tastebuds may be a-tingling, their breath will be taken away by the views, whether they be casting their eyes over the open kitchen or St Paul’s Cathedral beyond.

Ceremonies for up to 70 loved ones can take place on the restaurant’s upper floor. You, the happy couple, can then lead your nearest and dearest downstairs to toast your union. In all, there’s room for 108 seated guests to join you for your wedding breakfast upstairs, 120 over both floors; or 160 friends and family for an informal do across the whole venue.
