Colne Valley - Brook Lodge is a lavish dog-friendly lodge which is ideal for couples that don’t want to leave their fur-babies at home! Set at the foot of a two-acre private lake, the lodge has its own sunken hot tub on the private veranda, and despite being a romantic country retreat is just a 20-minute drive from Colchester! Less than 30 minutes from the lodge is Flatford Mill, a gorgeous little spot in the Dedham Vale where couples can rent a boat and row themselves along the river. Prices start from £713 for three nights July to September. There are a couple of cheaper weeks in early July which is £597 for three nights.

Halesworth - The Dairy at Green Valley Farm is a luxurious, rustic setting boasting original features – truly romantic for post-wedding bliss. There are footpaths leading to the neighbouring village of Laxfield, where couples will find a lovely pub where they can enjoy cold drinks and delicious food. The Suffolk Coast an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a short drive away.

Southwold - Flint Cottage is a splendid, quaint, gorgeous little romantic home for couples to enjoy much-needed time together post-vows. A comforting home away from home it's not far from Southwold which is a fantastic day out – great pier, lovely beaches, amazing fish and chips and excellent ice cream!
