They say time flies when you’re having fun and I can confirm that that is definitely the case as, somewhat incredibly (to me, at least), Mr Cassels and I will be celebrating our eighth wedding anniversary this May. It seems like only yesterday that I was stressing over whether I’d need a cover-up on the day and where I’d be able to source a gluten-free cake at short notice. And now my brother is set to tie the knot this June, I’m feeling all nostalgic as I discuss flowergirl dresses and bouquets with my soon-to-be sister-in-law. I hope you’ll indulge me as I wish Mr Cassels a very happy anniversary and my brother and his wife-to-be congratulations on their marriage.

Finally, who wouldn’t want an armadillo to make a guest appearance on their big day – that’s exactly what happened to Holly and Jonathan (page 57) – spoiler alert, they did tie the knot at ZSL London Zoo.

There’s three spaces to choose from at this reception-only venue – the firstfloor ballroom, which is accessed via an impressive and infinitely photogenic suspended staircase, can seat up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast or accommodate 180 friends and family for a less formal affair.
