Laura Lopez married Gary O'Donnell at Chelsea Old Town Hall followed by a reception at The Rutland Arms on 7th September, 2017.
We knew the iconic steps outside Chelsea Town Hall would make for excellent photographs.
“I'd never tried on a wedding dress before so I didn't know what would suit my curvy Spanish figure. I tried about 20 before finding the one.” – Laura
We came across The Rutland Arms on a sunny afternoon in June. We were walking along the river and popped in for a drink. The riverside location was perfect.
We hired a white limousine to transport Laura to the ceremony and then take us on to the reception. It was wonderful to stop off at iconic London landmarks en route for our Mr & Mrs shoot.
“I wanted my bridesmaids to feel comfortable so I let them choose their own dresses, giving them just two rules: it must be full-length and pastel.” – Laura
I chose a grey three-piece suit, and my groomsmen wore navy suits with burgundy pocket squares and socks.
Our photographer, Rebecca, was recommended to us by a friend. We're thrilled with the pictures – they're very natural but also artistic and creative.
“My colleagues gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers the day before the wedding. I rearranged them into a bouquet tied with a lace ribbon.” – Laura
We chose a soft palette of ivory, pink and gold for the reception décor – with pink table runners, and petals scattered along the length.
We chose the sweetest flavour available for our cake – Oreo, cream cheese and white chocolate cake – it was utterly delicious.
