Charlotte Scott, 29, married Alex Gough, 31, at Stoke Newington Town Hall followed by a reception at The Londesborough on 21st October, 2017.
Having lived locally, we'd spent many a night at The Londesborough so when we saw that the pub did weddings, we had to check it out.
I don't remember discussing where we would tie the knot; Stoke Newington Town Hall was just a given as we'd seen so many weddings take place there while strolling down Church Street in the early days of our relationship.
There were so many beautiful and unusual dresses at Rock the Frock and the staff put me at ease. The dress I
chose, Jungle Fever by Lucy Can’t Dance, accentuated my waist and suited the season.
I did my own hair and make-up, although had I known that our wedding would coincide with Storm Brian, I might have thought better of that!
I didn't want my flowers to be too structured so I opted for a more wild, rustic-style blooms in deep red and blue.
Alex wore a navy jacket and trousers with a grey waistcoat and a burgundy tie from Alexandra Wood.
I love Hannah's photos – she specialises in natural light and takes lovely, relaxed shots.
I stayed directly across the road from the venue at the Rose & Crown pub the night before the wedding so was able to walk to the venue.
The evening do was great fun – our DJ was recommended by the venue and was great.
The food was absolutely delicious – guests were able to choose their meal on the day, which saved us a job!
