Brides do Good launches new one-of-a-kind wedding dress boutique in Fulham, offering socially conscious brides a more ethical way to wed
Today, social enterprise Brides do Good has launched a bridal boutique in Fulham, London. This sustainable wedding dress boutique, said to be London’s first, will give brides the opportunity to say ‘I do’ to ethical wedding dress shopping whilst finding the dress of their dreams.
At Brides do Good, brides-to-be can purchase new, sample, and pre-loved designer wedding gowns with 100% of appointment fees and up to two thirds of sales donated to charity projects which empower young girls, educate communities and strive to end child marriage.
Brides visiting the Fulham boutique can choose from 61 leading international wedding gown designers, including Vera Wang, Charlie Brear, Caroline Castigliano, Temperley, and Pronovias – with gowns ranging from sizes 4-30, and all at affordable prices.
Appointments are available to book from 7th November onwards, and will take place at ‘The Showroom Presents…’, a new multi-brand space. Following champagne on arrival, bridal appointments will last for 120 minutes and include support from Brides do Good’s expert consultants.
Not only does the Brides do Good model benefit modern brides looking for a sustainable solution for their cherished wedding dress, but it also offers ethically-minded bridal designers and retailers a solution to combat the cycle of consumption and help fund charity projects which empower and protect young girls.
Chantal Khoueiry, Founder of Brides Do Good, says: “We are thrilled to be opening the first boutique in London that gives brides the option of buying a wedding dress that is both stunning and sustainable.
Brides do Good is so much more than a wedding boutique. We are a movement that connects women from all over the world, harnessing the power of the bridal industry to create long-term change.
Every dress that is donated, bought or sold takes us one step closer to ending child marriage, by empowering vulnerable young girls and educating communities around the world.”
