Meet Gabriela Staniszewski of Hair and Makeup by Gabrielle

Tell us about your company...
I'm a multi-award-winning hair and make-up stylist specialising in weddings. My focus is on helping women to feel good about themselves, using modern techniques and an experienced eye to create tailored looks that will stay fresh and gorgeous throughout the day. My approach is totally bespoke, working with clients to create a look that's true to their style and personality.

What are your top tips for looking and feeling your big-day best?
Book a couple of professional facials in the lead-up to your day; fresh, exfoliated and hydrated skin makes the best possible canvas for your make-up. Also, make sure you take time out in the run-up to the wedding. This is the time to pamper yourself, so book that spa break with your best girls. The more relaxed you are, the better you'll look and feel on your big day.

What's your favourite way to relax and have some me-time?
I love long walks, meals in good company and sinking into a hot bath after a busy day at work. It's all about the simple pleasures for me.
