With restrictions on weddings meaning guest lists have had to be slashed, couples are turning to technology to help them share their big day with family and friends. Goodenough College in Bloomsbury has been helping brides and grooms live-stream their special day.
"Two of our alum were married at the college under the restrictions," says Sabrina Beck, event and sales manager. "It was lovely that they chose to mark their special day at the college where they met. They live-streamed their ceremony, enabling them to share the event with loved ones who were unable to join."
Another option the venue is recommending to couples is having an intimate ceremony in 2021, followed by a larger celebration with extended friends and family on their first anniversary in 2022. "This way you get the best of both worlds," Sabrina explains. "We're currently offering a discount on our venue hire fee to Your London Wedding readers who would like to explore this option."
