What can you expect at Drapers' Hall?
Found in the heart of the City of London, Drapers' Hall provides a majestic big-day backdrop, which is steeped in history. On the site of the present Drapers' Hall, once part of the Augustinian Priory, Thomas Cromwell built his palace in the 1530s. After his execution, the property was purchased by the Guild of Drapers in 1543 from Henry VIII.
The venue boasts magnificent and opulent interiors to celebrate in. Couples will also love the garden, which provides a hidden oasis in the city for entertaining up to 180 guests. There's also The Courtyard (150 guests), an alternative al fresco spot for receptions.
Let's celebrate!
The venue is not licensed for ceremonies, but offers an exquisite setting for receptions. The peaceful and elegant Drawing Room (100 guests) is the perfect place to welcome loved ones for a champagne reception. Richly decorated and visually dramatic, the Court Dining Room (120 guests) can be combined with the Drawing Room for larger gatherings. The venue's in-house catering and dedicated team will ensure everything runs smoothly, and couples are treated to a free menu tasting.
We love...
Drapers' Hall is instantly recognisable from films such as The King's Speech and GoldenEye.
