Sweet-scented celebrations
After a wedding, creating a calming atmosphere is important to beginning a new chapter in your lives. A Yankee candle...
The award-winning Museum of London, located on London Wall, has unveiled an online 3D venue tour for couples looking to tie the knot in London.
The 3D tour will transport users into the heart of the museum and enabling engaged couples to virtually explore10 of the venue's rooms and galleries including its main space, The Sackler Hall. Brides- and grooms-to-be can visit the 3D tour on their desktop, mobiles and tablets to view the space. For an added element of immersion, soon-to-be-weds with access to a VR headset or Google Cardboard can click on the headset icon, from where they'll be directed to the virtual reality experience. With the headset on, you'll be met with a high-definition, 360 degree view of your chosen space and can navigate the room via an interactive menu controlled solely by looking at a series of virtual tabs and pointers.
The venue's 3D tour was designed to allow potential bookers to view the venue on their smartphone or desktop at their leisure and from anywhere in the world, which chimes with the museum's ongoing mission to champion London as a global events destination.
Sarah McQueen, venues and hospitality manager at the Museum of London commented: “At the Museum of London, our aim is to help organisers connect with the capital and experience the rich backstory of this great city by hosting spectacular events.
“Through our new 3D tour, we'll be able to extend our reach and make the lives of international bookers easier by immersing them in the venue in an engaging and insightful way, all from the comfort of their desk. We encourage anyone booking events in London to check out the tour and see what the museum has to offer!”
