Trinity House enjoys delightful views of the Tower of London overlooking Trinity Square Gardens and is one of London’s most distinguished private venues. The working home of the General Lighthouse Authority, it is easily accessed by car or the underground. The elegance and airy spaciousness of the House possesses the ambience of a grand townhouse and is an impressive setting for memorable civil weddings.

Behind the building’s imposing neo-classical façade, designed by Samuel Wyatt in 1794, are five graceful banqueting and conference rooms – The Library, The Court Room, The Pepys Room, Luncheon Room and Reading Room - catering for weddings ranging in capacity from 10 to 130 seated places (180 standing). Trinity House protects and showcases numerous remarkable maritime artefacts that bear testament to the prominent role played by the Corporation of Trinity House in the nation’s maritime history.

Georgian Gem with Views of the Tower of London

Trinity House is collaborating in 2023 with Box Clever Events - one of the 12 preferred caterers with whom the venue works on a regular basis - to provide wedding clients with an eco and value-oriented two-hour civil service ceremony wedding package. In addition, Trinity House is collaborating with Amalia Strings to offer a special package providing an additional hour of live 'ensemble' music on a complimentary basis.

The Court Room at Trinity House

The Court Room of Trinity House is distinguished by an impressive trompe l'oeil ceiling with allegorical paintings around a maritime/Neptune theme. The carpet showing the crest of the Corporation of Trinity House is the second largest single loom in the UK - the largest housed at Windsor Castle. The tall south-facing sash windows look over Trinity Square Gardens towards the Tower of London for a quintessentially English outlook.

The Library at Trinity House can seat 130 (180 standing) and features a Minstrels' Gallery, original stained glass windows, a glass cabinet display of impressive silver maritime treasures, stunning chandeliers, and a direct view of the Tower of London.
