Weddings at Queen Mary

Weddings at Queen Mary Opened by Queen Victoria in 1887, this Grade II listed building was once known as the Albert Hall of East London. Built in Neo-Classical style with columns and a portico, visitors step inside to find an atmospheric space with book-lined walls and busts of eminent authors under a beautiful domed ceiling. Parties can spill outside to enjoy the Queen's Lawn and its Victorian clocktower, as well as the Regent's Canal running alongside.

Let's celebrate! Intimate ceremonies are held in the Senior Common Room (100 guests), an exclusive-use private member's club. For a more opulent celebration, The Octagon is the perfect choice. The former university library, its domed ceiling reaches three storeys high and the endless books provide a wonderful backdrop for photos.

We love... Soon-to-be-weds will receive a free menu tasting, and the venue has recently launched virtual tours.
