Wedding season will soon be full swing and, to kick off proceedings, Chelsea Old Town Hall is hosting its Spring Open Day, on Sunday 8th March, 2020 from 10am to 4pm - its first since the grand reopening of the venue in April 2019. Couples will get an inside look at the iconic venue, plus the chance to meet local and national suppliers, not to mention entry into a prize draw to win exclusive treats from a range of businesses. Located on the famous King's Road in Chelsea, the Old Town Hall is a grand, Grade II* listed Victorian building which recently underwent a full internal refurbishment. The venue has been featured in Hello! Magazine as a favourite for celebrity marriages and was the location for one of the first opposite sex civil partnership ceremonies in the country on 31st December, 2019 - the first day that they could legally take place. As well as being able to meet registrars and get a feel for the venue, the open day will also feature a range of local and national suppliers, including Virgin Holidays, 'It's My Magazine', and Make-up Studio 42, plus treats from Ruby's Vegan Bakery and Peggy Porschen.Steven Lord, Head of Registration Services at RBKC, comments: "So many different couples have walked through our doors, from celebrities to political campaigners who won the right for opposite sex civil partnerships, and Chelsea Old Town Hall is as unique as the people we serve. Our Spring Open Day will showcase the range of ceremony rooms we have, suited for every kind of happy union. "No matter how untraditional or 'off-the-wall' your plans are, we'll aim to help make it a day to remember!"Guests will automatically be entered into the draw when they register upon arrival on the day or via Eventbrite, just search 'Chelsea Register Office - Spring Open Day' at Eventbrite.co.uk.
