Flock founder Kathryn Dinsmore launched the company in April 2021 after finding her self facing redundancy due to the last year seriously effecting the events industry.
Whilst researching hen parties for her sister's wedding, she also also discovered a gap in the market, "Most of the big companies were offering the same repetitive packages at expensive prices," shares Kathryn. "I felt there was a huge gap for a personalised planner that offers the very best experiences at a reasonable price."

With COVID-19, hen groups are definitely more reluctant to book abroad this year, and so Scotland has so much to offer in terms of beauty and fun.

"It also feels like something fresh and new, especially for groups from England, Wales and Ireland who might not have visited before," adds Kathryn.
"I'm originally from Northern Ireland, and came to Scotland for University. I fell in love with the country and now live here permanently. With a background in the events industry, it feels like the perfect fit to bring bridal groups together to enjoy this magical old country."

Flock specialises in creating unique hen party packages at affordable prices across Scotland - focusing in Edinburgh and some of the most beautiful places across the Highlands and Loch Lomond.

Its vision is to plan and personalise bespoke hen parties for the cool and modern day bride, depending on the group's preferences.

For example, its 'Boho bride' package is designed for free spirited types who love relaxation and wellness. On the other hand, 'Thrill seeker' package aims to put groups outside of their comfort zone, with adrenaline-fuelled activities like zip-lining and watersports.
