Meet Domenica Francesca Goode of Cartalia Stationery Studio in London

While the past year or so has been tough, the wedding industry has pushed through and remained positive. Companies like Cartalia Stationery Studio (www.cartalia.co.uk) are finding lots of reasons to celebrate, from reaching 10K followers on Instagram to launching a new travel-inspired range. We caught up with owner Domenica Francesca Goode to find out more.

Tell us about your company...
We're one of the few stationery businesses that have a studio and showroom in London. We offer in-person appointments to truly understand our couples and be able to guide them and give their wedding stationery that personal touch. I studied at London College of Fashion with a BA in Fashion Design. Coming from a family of printers, I wanted to show that you can have luxurious and personal stationery in a template-driven industry, while making it affordable.

What does it mean to you that so many people are inspired by your Instagram?
Wow! Where do I begin? The business stood steadily at under 1,000 followers for more than four years, but with continuous work and creative content we've built that up to where we are today. We love sharing updates and stories on our feed, as well as showcasing all our different styles. A particular favourite is our laser-cutting videos – they're mesmerising to watch!

Tell us about your favourite range...
In a time when travel has been off the cards, we're loving our new passport collection. London is such a multicultural place, and we love making these for destination weddings to get guests excited to pack their bags. They're also great for travel fanatics who are having a travel-themed day.
