The King's Head on Teddington's High Street has been the area's go to pub and brasserie for over 10 years. Post an extensive refurbishment in January, The King's Head has re-opened its doors with a stylish new look featuring a brand new, vibrant dining room, plenty of intimate and inviting snugs and a fabulous private space for pre-wedding and post-wedding get-togethers.

Head for the elegant new Brasserie, which has been brightened with botanical wallpaper and vintage finds. The new self-contained Garden Room comes with bi-fold windows and is a bright and pretty room for private events. The expansive outside terrace, complete with lush greenery, is destined to be a summer hotspot and the perfect setting for an afternoon spritz with friends and family – The King's Head is pet-friendly so feel free to bring your pooch!

The open plan kitchen shows just how seriously The King's Head takes its food with a menu featuring French brasserie dishes with an English pub twist. Everything is cooked to order with classics such as chicken liver parfait, Burgundian snails, duck leg cassoulet and beef bourguignon sitting alongside more adventurous dishes such as Malabar fish curry with toasted coconut and Peruvian glazed chicken with lime, paprika and soy. Pub favourites, from steaks and pies through to mussels and fish cakes, also feature.

There's a monthly changing menu packed with the best of seasonal ingredients at just £12.95 for two courses (add an additional course for £3.50) Monday to Saturday until 6.30pm and Sunday lunch features a two-course menu for £20 with roasts such as Cornish beef with Yorkshire puddings and sirloin of outdoor reared Lincolnshire pork with apple fritter and green apple sauce. The same care has gone into the drinks as the food with The King's Head offering a carefully curated selection of French wines, an array of craft ales and beers, classic cocktails and liqueurs alongside an extensive range of gins. Rediscover your favourite local – with fabulous new interiors and a cracking menu, there's never been a better reason to visit The King's Head.
