Ananya, the luxury bespoke wedding stationery design consultancy, has announced the launch of a sustainability partnership in India. As a business that revolves around paper, Ananya takes its commitment and responsibility to the planet very seriously.

That's why this year, the stationer has partnered with SankalpTaru to plant trees for every stationery order placed. SankalpTaru is the first technology enabled non-profit organisation that plants trees in India, while also supporting rural livelihood, empowering women, promoting bio-diversity and making schools cleaner and greener.

With charity close to her heart, Ananya's founder, Vaishali Shah has chosen to contribute 10 per cent of the firm's profits to charitable organisations since its inception in 2006. Vaishali commented: “We are thrilled to be teaming up with SankalpTaru, a truly amazing charity doing fantastic work in India.

“At Ananya, the sustainability and ecological impact of our work is hugely important to
us. Our whole business relies on paper so it's crucial that we give something back.

“For every stationery order placed, Ananya will plant trees on behalf of the happy couples choosing to use our services. Together, we can support reforestation and environmental conservation projects across India.”

Ananya is renowned for creating stationery that truly reflects the individual culture, style and personality of each couple. Whether it's an ultra-modern, on-trend wedding or Bollywood glitz and glam, Vaishali and her team love the challenge that each wedding invitation brings.
